The 96FM Powerpalooza Grand Final for the Wormall Civil Sprintcars is shaping to be a beauty, with no less than 24 cars entered for the final event of the season.
All the usual suspects are entered… Kendrick, the Maiolo’s, Priolo and more. Added into the field for some extra spice is Victorian Jamie Veal racing the Krikke Motorsport #2.
But aside from the wins and the ups and the downs, the Wormall Civil Track Championship for Sprintcars has been adding up as each event goes by. But this weekend, one final lot of numbers will be added to the tally.
Leading the track championship after 10 completed events is Brad Maiolo, who has had a very consistent year. He leads narrowly over the 11 machine of Jason Kendrick, who has had a lot of ups, but also some disappointing downs.
Still in contention if things fall their way, is the Jamie’s of Jamie Oldfield and Jamie Maiolo. Oldfield sits third only 56 points shy of leader Brad Maiolo, while Jamie sits only 65 points behind.
While he may not be able to win it, Andrew Priolo is a chance to steal a podium away from these drivers if luck falls his way.
