The Perth Motorplex are now hiring a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join the team.
This is a new full time position offered initially as a contract with opportunities for permanency. Due to the industry of the business, this role requires work outside of normal office hours, within the events framework of the business.
Reporting directly to the Commercial & Operations Manager, the Grounds and Maintenance Officer:
- Ensures all Perth Motorplex facilities are presented in a clean, safe and tidy condition at all times and that public health and safety standards and WHS regulations are adhered to.
- Responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and working order of the Perth Motorplex and its facilities.
- Responsible for the routine maintenance of fence lines, gardens, lawns, paths and roadways within the Perth Motorplex.
- Responsible for all turf and reticulation maintenance including mowing, fertilising and associated works.
- Coordination of on-site contractors at the venue for maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Carries out or coordinates general repairs and maintenance of the buildings and equipment
- Maintaining preventative maintenance schedules.
- Undertakes perimeter checks; reports any damage to the Commercial & Operations Manager and assists with the repair/rectification as required.
