Apology to Mr Ryan Learmonth

“It has come to my attention that some of the information contained in a PR report linked to my ‘Open Letter’ dated 23 Feb 2016 was incorrect. In the report as Gerald McDornan had been informed, it was incorrectly stated that Ryan Learmonth lodged a protest against the race result. Ryan did not lodge a protest and gracefully accepted the result of this most unusual race. I offer my sincere apologies to Ryan, his crew, his family and friends for any hurt that this may have caused Ryan or anyone else.”
